Two Months

I can't believe Desmond is two months old. On October 11 Brian blessed Desmond it was a great blessing. We had so many of our family and friends come to support us. It was so nice to get both families up here and to enjoy a nice lunch after the blessing.

Desmond's blessing outfit was made by my sister-in-law Kyria's mother Dale it is so cute and Desmond looked so handsome in it.

On the 15th we had Desmond's two month appointment he weights 12 lbs 10 oz and is 24 inches, the Dr asked me if I was sure this was his 2 month and not his 4 month. He is 95% in his height and 75% in his weight. He defiantly takes after his dad. On Saturday B and I went golfing with my brother Jason and sister in law Mandy it was so nice to get out of the house and to get some sun. It was hard to leave my baby at home I don't know how I will go to work and leave him.

UEA Weekend

I know that B and I are not in school but we still had a great UEA weekend. On Thursday Oct 1 our nephew yes I said nephew got married to the cutest girl Sarah. We wish Kevin and her the greatest life.

On Friday night we went down to Sanpete and stayed with my parents. On Saturday we had a barbecue with some of B's family. The kids were outside playing and the next thing I see out the window is B and Scott running around Troy's front lawn with a ball. The kids challenged the two to a kick ball game it was so fun to watch I just had to take pictures I thought the two of them where going to have heartaches. After about a half hour I just had to join in on the fun it was a blast to play the kids didn't want to stop.

We then went to dinner with my parents and stayed the night at B's moms. On Sunday we had a lot of stops on the way home. I finally went and seen my best friend Steph and her kids, then we stopped at the hospital to see my great grandma. We then went and seen Jason and Mandy it was so nice to see you guys and we are so glad you are home don't leave us again. We made our finale stop at B's brother Scott's his mother-in-law is making Desmond's blessing outfit so we had to get him fitted. We were so glad when we made it home.

Bronco's/Raiders

So football has began and that only means one thing Bronco's and Raiders playing each other. They played today Sunday Sept 27 we decided we would let Desmond decide when he is old enough to which team he will cheer for until then we will dress him in both gear so we did his jersey was a little big but it worked so thanks aunt Jessica for getting him the jersey!!!!

Sanpete

Desmond and I went to Sanpete Sept 13 Thur 20. We had so much fun and was so busy the whole time we where down there. My parents were so excited for us to be there, my sisters were a big help and they both fell asleep holding Desmond. Monday we hung out with my sister Heather for most of the morning and afternoon then my cousin Staci and her kids came over to see us we had lots of fun with them. On Tuesday we went to lunch with my cousin Jamie and my best friend Stephanie it was so much fun to get caught up with what was going on. Then that night my family went to Mt. Pleasant and watched my sister Heather play softball it was a lot of fun but sad cause I wasn't playing. They asked me to play with them there second game I had so much fun even though I haven't played since B and I got married I think I did pretty good. On Wednesday we hung out with my cousin Jamie she did my nails and toes so it was good for me. Then we went down and had dinner with my mother-in-law and her husband it was so good and so great to see them. On Thursday we where at my aunt Reba's all day from 11 am to 10 pm. Desmond got to experience his first club when I took him up to my mom to see all the ladies that she plays boncos with. They were excited to see him cause the day I went in to have him it was my mom's turn to host boncos so they where all excited for him arrive. On Friday we went and hung out with my Grandma all day it was so fun to be with her and for Desmond to get to be with her. Saturday we went to my cousin Shandi's baby shower and then went and did 5 generation pictures with my great grandma Myrth, grandma Myrna, my mom Connie , myself and Desmond it was such a fun experience to have that done. We where almost up to my grandma Myrth's late enough to bring in her 94 birthday on Sunday. We finally started on our way back up to Salt Lake on Sunday with a stop in Provo to our Nephew Travis's farewell we are so excited for him.

Five Generations

3 Weeks

I can't believe my baby is almost 3 weeks old. He is such a joy to have in our home. B and I have been blessed with a great baby he sleeps between 4 to 6 hours at night so it's been nice. Desmond HATES his bath on Sunday we were giving him his bath we turned him over on his tummy to wash his back and he started sucking on his arm. My parents came up and my dad was holding him and I noticed a purple mark on his arm. He had sucked so hard on his arm he gave himself a monkey bite!!!! Ya I know I about died!!! He hates getting his diaper changed and he enjoys trying to shot B and I he has yet to get us but I am sure the day is going to come. I didn't think I could love anything as much as I love this little guy. We are enjoying being parents. He has changed so much and he just gets cuter and cuter everyday.

Desmond James Jorgensen

Desmond is finally here. Desmond was born on August 14, 2009. On Thursday afternoon B and I were having lunch at work and he told me I needed to go and get my blood pressure taken, I asked him why and he just said I don't know I just think you should. My blood pressure has not been high throughout the pregnancy but Dr Terry told me if it was in the mid 80's he would start me at my next appointment. I had the nurse at work take it and to our surprise I was 152/98 so I called the Dr and they had me come in. When we got to the office it went up to 164/100. Yeah, it was high so they made me rest and then take it again it went down to 150/90 but that is still high. Dr Terry walked into the room and shook B's hand and said Congratulations your going to be a dad tonight. I was admitted into the hospital right then.

I progressed fast and at 1:23 am Desmond was born 7 lbs 10 oz and 21 inches long. He is so cute we are so excited to have him here. We are so lucky he is a great baby!!!! We had lots of visitors come and see us at the hospital but we are enjoying being home. My mom has come and stayed with us and has helped us so much! Thanks mom you are the BEST!!!!!

Busy Month

We have had a very busy month already. On Friday July 3rd my friend Krystal came up to Salt Lake I have not seen her since her wedding 4 years ago. It was so good to see her. She is pregnant with her first baby and is due 10 days after me. B and I then went down to Sanpete to celebrate the 4th with our families. We go up and went to Moroni and Mt Pleasant's parades were my little sister Nicole was in both with the drill team.

We then stayed at B's cousin Julie's house for the Jorgensen BBQ it was so good and great to see all of the family that was there. We then went to my parents and relaxed for a while. My parents always have a BBQ at there house the night of the 4th were all my aunts and cousins come to watch the fireworks so we helped my mom get ready for that. My cousin Karole came up from Arizona for a month and I have not seen her in a year, we got to meet her new baby Kole. I have to say we miss you Karole...

We were disappointed when it started to get really windy and rain so we didn't get to see fireworks very sad. On the 5th we went to my cousin Staci's little girl Tana's baby blessing. We had a doctors appointment on the 6th. Desmond's heart is still really strong and he is turned correctly.

On July 7th B and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. It has been an amazing 2 years. Brian you are the best husband and you are going to make an amazing father. We went to dinner to celebrate. On July 8th my Young Women's threw me a baby shower for our ward. We were so blessed with gifts and money. Thank you so much to everyone that came and gave us gifts.

On Saturday B and I went back to Sanpete where my mom and best friend Traci threw me another baby shower. It was so nice you guys did amazing. Of course we had so much food and treats it was great.

I was so glad to see everyone that came. Thanks to everyone!!!! Know we are set for Desmond to come 32 days and counting:)

Flooring

When B gets something going in his head he doesn't quit until it's done. I said something to him about 2 weeks ago about putting hardwood flooring in our apartment before Desmond came. B went right to our landlords and asked them if we could and of course they said yes. We have the best landlords they let us do anything we want to our apartment and they pay for it. So thanks Shelly and Gary. So that was on Monday June 15 and on June 22 B went and talked to them again and they came on Wednesday June 24 and gave us the money to do it. B then went to Home Dept that night to see which one to do. We bought the flooring on Thursday June 25 and started working on it Friday after work. Woke up Saturday and worked from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm, then came home from church on Sunday worked from 1:00 pm until 9:30 pm. He did a great job and it made a huge difference to our little home. Girls Camp

This week was girls camp for our ward. In March they asked me to be the camp director and I told them I would be 7 months pregnant but I would do what I could. We went up on Monday to the Heber Valley Camp. It is so nice and pretty up there. The girls loved it they stayed in the cabin most of the day eating candy and playing games. We made flip flops and ate Cafe Rio for dinner.

I then had B come get me that night (glad to sleep in my own bed).

I then went up on Thursday with some of the other ladies in young women's. It rained all morning but the girls did get a hike in before it got to bad. It then cleared up so we walked up to the lake and enjoyed the sun.

For dinner that night we did a dinner for the bishopric. We just set the tables up and slapped the food on the table with no plates. The girls LOVED it. We also made Tie die shirts it was so fun!!!!

Desmond's Room

My husband is the BEST!!! We found the bedding we wanted for Desmond's nursery so he told me to buy it and we could start get the nursery painted. So we bought it and decided what color we wanted to paint. Of course B wouldn't let me help which I was sad about because I love to paint. When he started he just wanted to finish. He got it all done in three days. You are the best babe. It turned out so cute!!!!!

Happy Anniversary

I just wanted to tell my Mom and Dad Happy 27th Anniversary. B and I were able to go to dinner with them last night and have them stay at our house. We love you both.

Busy!!!!

It's been a while since I have posted sorry!!!! We have been so busy with work and playing. As soon as the snow melts and is warm enough B and I try to go golfing during the weekend. So I really have not had time to sit down and blog. Here are some pictures of one of our trips with my mom and dad down at Palisade golf course where I (six months pregnant) was the only one out of the three of us golfing to get a par.

We have also been busy cleaning out Desmond's room and trying to prepare for his arrival in August. I have also been trying to get girls camp done so I have been slacking on the blogging.
B got my last year birthday present ready to sell today so I am a little sad. He promises to buy me another one later when he is done with school and we are able to afford it. So if you know anyone that wants to buy a Mustang GT send them our way.
